Terms of Service
Last updated August 20, 2026
EnAffaire is a service of RKP Atlantic Business Services, Grand-Barachois, New Brunswick, Canada. These are the terms you agree to when you sign up for an account or use the service. They are written to be read, not to be survived. How we handle personal information is a separate page: our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The short version. $69.99 CAD a month, plus sales tax where it applies. Seven days free first, no card. No setup fee, no contract, no minimum term, no cancellation fee — call 506-870-8499 or reply to any billing email and we stop the next charge. Your photos and words stay yours. Don't publish things you don't have the right to publish, and only email people who actually asked you to.
1. Who these terms are between
"We", "us" and "EnAffaire" mean RKP Atlantic Business Services, a trading name of 687441 NB Inc. "You" means the business that holds the account, and anyone you let use it.
If someone subscribes to alerts from a business that uses EnAffaire, they are not a party to these terms — they have a relationship with that business, and we deliver on its behalf. Section 8 sets out what that means for consent.
2. What the service is
EnAffaire gives a business a promo board it can update from a phone, and a way to tell its own customers when something changes. In practice that is:
- A hosted business page at a public address, with your photos, specials, prices and links.
- A daily special you can set in seconds, and promo slots you can add, edit or remove.
- Alerts to the people who subscribed to your board — by email, and by push notification on devices where they turned it on.
- A portal you sign into with a magic link sent to your email, rather than a password.
- Optionally, connecting your Facebook Page so you can pull your existing photos and details in instead of typing them again (section 9).
- Monthly search-visibility checks on your board, where your plan includes them.
We add and change features. We will not remove something you are paying for without telling you first.
3. Your account
You need a working email address, because that is how you sign in and how we reach you about billing. Sign-in links and remembered devices are the keys to your account — treat them the way you would a password. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access, and we will end the remembered sessions.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what anyone you give access to publishes.
4. The free trial
New accounts get 7 days free and no credit card is asked for. It is the whole product, not a locked preview.
When the seven days end, the account is suspended, not deleted. Your board stops being served publicly, and your promos, subscribers and notification settings stay exactly where they are. Paying at that point turns everything back on — coming back is a payment, not a rebuild. We will keep a suspended account for as long as is reasonable; if you want it removed sooner, ask and we will delete it.
5. Price, tax and billing
- The standard price is $69.99 CAD per month. There is no setup fee.
- In Canada, GST/HST is added at checkout at the rate for the province you give us. Pick the province you actually operate in — it drives the tax we remit.
- Outside Canada, the subscription is billed in Canadian dollars with no Canadian sales tax added. Your bank may apply its own conversion or foreign-transaction fee; that is between you and your bank.
- If we offered you an introductory rate, that rate is what your account is billed at, and it stays at that rate. We do not step it up later.
- Billing is monthly and recurring from the day you start. Payment is by credit card through our processor, which vaults your card and gives us a token to charge it again. We never hold your full card number.
- If a charge fails, we retry and email you. An account that stays unpaid is suspended, on the same terms as section 4 — nothing is deleted.
6. Cancelling
It is month to month. There is no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Call 506-870-8499 or reply to any billing email and we stop the next charge. You can also write to hello@enaffaire.com.
Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively undo the month you are in, and we do not automatically prorate a partial month. If something went wrong — a charge you did not expect, a renewal that landed the day you meant to cancel — tell us and we will sort it out. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
We may end or suspend an account ourselves if it goes unpaid, if it is being used for something in section 7, or if we are legally required to. Except where the conduct is serious enough to need immediate action, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
7. What you may not publish or do
- Anything illegal, or anything that promotes illegal activity.
- Photos, text, logos or music you do not have the right to use. If you pulled it from somewhere else, make sure it is yours to publish.
- Prices, offers or claims that are misleading — a special that is not really available, a "was" price that never was.
- Content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that targets a private individual.
- Impersonating another business, or publishing a page for a business you do not represent.
- Anything that makes the service unsafe or unavailable for others: probing, scraping at volume, breaking or working around the limits and access controls, or uploading malware.
If you publish something in this list, we may take it down without notice.
8. Your content, and your subscriber list
Your content stays yours. You give us permission to store, resize, display and send it as part of running the service — that is what makes the page render and the alerts arrive — and nothing more. That permission ends when the content comes down, except for copies sitting in backups until they age out.
Your subscriber list is yours, and it is also a legal responsibility. Under Canada's anti-spam law, you may only send commercial messages to people who agreed to receive them. So:
- Only add people who asked for your alerts. Our subscribe flow is double opt-in and records the consent, which is your evidence — do not bypass it.
- Do not upload or import a list of contacts who did not opt in to hearing from you.
- Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and an unsubscribe is honoured immediately. Do not try to defeat it.
If we get credible complaints that your list was not consented to, we may pause sending on your account while we look into it.
9. Connecting your Facebook Page
Connecting a Facebook Page is optional and is never required to use EnAffaire. If you connect one, you are telling us you are authorised to act for that Page.
We ask Meta only for the access needed to list the Pages you manage and read the Page's own public details and posts, so we can bring your photos, hours and description into your EnAffaire board. We do not post to your Page, and we do not read your private messages. You can disconnect at any time from your portal, or revoke our access from Facebook's own settings; disconnecting deletes the stored access token. Your use of Facebook itself is governed by Meta's terms, not ours.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service up and we monitor it, but we do not promise a specific uptime percentage, and we are not offering a service-level agreement. Maintenance, an upstream provider, or a fault can interrupt it. If something breaks badly enough to matter, tell us — we would rather hear it from you than not.
11. Warranties and liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that publishing a page will produce any particular number of customers, subscribers or sales. Except for the promises actually made in these terms, the service is provided as is.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here takes away consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your province.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects your account or what you pay, we will email you before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the change; if you do not, cancel under section 6.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of New Brunswick have jurisdiction — without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
